Ben Franklin Stool

Ben Franklin, renowned for his intellectual pursuits, diplomatic endeavors, statesmanship, and inventive mind, created a remarkable piece: a stool that cleverly transformed into a stepladder. Drawing inspiration from this invention, one of my personal joys lies in gazing upon a piece of furniture, visualizing its design, and then proceeding to construct it without the aid of plans or instructions. The stool I built is one such piece that originated from a mere glimpse in a book.

This particular item now occupies a place of prominence in my kitchen, serving as an additional chair when we have company over for dinner. I have had the pleasure of crafting numerous Franklin Stools for various clients, utilizing a variety of wood species. Each stool has become a treasured and cherished piece of furniture in the homes of my customers, adding both functionality and beauty to their living spaces.
